ATIQ AL HO OR SOCIETY The National Honor Society of Secondary Schools charter was first pre- sented to Days Creek high school in March, 1955. Students must obtain a grade point average of 3. 5, and, also, be outstanding in leadership, character and service, to become a probationary member of the Days Creek chapter. They must maintain these high standards throughout their high school career in order to become permanent members of the National Honor Society at graduation. 1956 novitiates, who were tapped at the Fall Award Banquet, were Jarard Richardson, standing, Florette McGee, Frances Stone, Sandra Fairfield, and, seated, Grady Gaulke and Pearl Kapascinski. .J-N 42 . ef? .
