The eouneil is a liaison lxetween the laeulty and the students. presenting ., . . the students prohlems to the laeulty. and helping the students to understand the purpose of the actions ol' the laeulty. Although it has no judieial or exeeutive power. it does have the authority to settle disputes among the students, luring any eomplaints they might have to the attention of the sehool. discipline the students if tht need arises, and to help to solve any prohlem that might eome up between the two. .
