1 1988 DEDICATION: Randy Oliver The annual staff dedicates this year’s annual to a very special teacher. As well as being a great teach- er, he is a coach and a friend to all. He enjoys collecting baseball cards and is involved with many athletic activities. We, the annual staff, are proud to dedicate the Panther '88 to Randy Oliver. 2 STEPHEN AGENT FAMILY DENTISTRY 308 Arcadia Avenue Dawson Springs, KY 42408 797-3319 Several students from Dawson Springs had busy summers, but not all of them vacationed in Florida. Lee Anne Farmer and Ju- lie Ann Johnston spent four weeks in Germany. They each lived with a different German family. Troy Howton and Joan Hicks spent five weeks at the Governor’s Scholars Program. Troy was at the University of Kentucky, and Joan was at Centre College. Andy Page spent a week- end at Transylvania College for the HOBY Leadership Seminars. All of these young people had pleasant learning experiences that they will never forget. Only the class of’88 knows how hard putting it together was. We would like to thank our sponsors, Mr. Bowden and Mr. Nallia, for all of their help. We started to worry when the clock fell, but we knew everything would be okay when those giant letters were finally finished. The Prom King and Queen were Jerry Bruce and Laura Ausenbaugh. The theme was “ ’Til the Clock Strikes Twelve,” and the colors were silver, purple, and lavender. CKE£ I)nUFT 118 South Mam Street. Dawson Springs. Kentucky 42408 Telephone. (502) 797-2948 ROBIN W. I have knowledge, so will You show me now How to use it wisely and find a way somehow To make the world I live in a little better place And make life with its problems a bit easier to face Grant me faith and courage and put purpose in my days And show me how to serve Thee in the most effective ways So all my education, my knowledge, and my skill May find their true fulfillment as 1 learn to do Thy will And may I ever be aware in everything I do That knowledge comes from learning, and wisdom comes from You.
