WANNA’ PLAY A GAME? The theme of the 1985 yearbook is Games Panthers Play”, so its only fitting that we give you a chance to play the “Panther's Game”. On the following two pages is an original game for your enjoyment . . . and the rules are very simple. Each player begins in the block marked “start” (simple already right??) Spin the spinner and follow the instructions on the block that you land on. The object of the game is to collect a total of 200 points over your four years of high school. Certain classes are worth points and so are certain events, while other events cause you to lose a turn or be sent to the principal’s office. Any time you might land on an English class, you slide back a whole year, and if you land on English 4 ,.. you slide all the way back to English 1! Once you have completed all four years and reached the Final Exams” block, you then must have accumulated 200 points or you must repeat your Junior and Senior year until you do collect enough points. If you do reach the Final Exams block and have 200 points, then you may go on to graduation and win the game! Also, the black squares are study halls” on which you get to remain uneffected until your next turn. Enjoy the “Panther's Game and maybe you’ll be successful in your route to Graduation!!
