A swimming pool came into sight at the city park, but a complete vision of it is still a while off. Concerts from Ratt. to Sammy Hagar. to REO Speedwa- gon kept everyone busy at night, aside from the monthly dances and ball games We were entertained at the movies by Purple Rain , Starman , Beverly Hills Cop , and Dune .

io During 84-85, Radio was rockin' with Hall and Oates, Bryan Adams, Foreigner, Wham!, Pat Benetar, Prince and Sheila E.; and videos of the hottest hits were easy to find on almost any channel. When all of this wasn’t keeping us busy — we were watching Dallas , The Cosby Show”, Cheers , or “The A-Team” on primetime. During the days we sat home, we watched “Days of Our Lives” or The People’s Court”. If all this was going on, then how could we get so bored?? Oh well ... with all the changes still in store for Dawson, it should only get better.
