Ur Panther J9S. Our friendship has been tested many times over the years, especially when we put on the Junior-Senior Prom. There were so many problems we thought we’d never make it. You felt like quitting, but you didn’t. Instead, you stood by us, and our prom turned into a night to be remembered. We’ll always be grateful for all the hard work you put in. In years to come, we’ll think back on our high schooj days and remember you fondly. Your friendly smile and sparkling personality will never be forgotten. We just hope that in the future you will think of us and the good times we’ve had — and smile. The Class of 1983 DEDICATION tm |l«. f r •! H MB. ELEMENTARY Each year, many lucky five-year-olds are dragged away from the dreariness of homelife to the wonderment of Mrs. Roby’s kindergarten. The excitement continues in Mrs. Chapman’s and Mrs. Franklin’s 1st grade classes. A year later, the extravaganza continues in the 2nd grade with Miss Owens’, and this year, some 2nd and 3rd graders are in an all-new split class with Mrs. Napier. Meanwhile, Mrs. Dunbar helps her 3rd grade explore the complicated realm of multiplication. FACULTY Miss Lowery and Mrs. Grace take the 4th grade one step further with division and fractions, as well as sentence patterns. The 5th grade class experiences, for the first time, the thrill of changing classes, and Mrs. Parsons and Mister Luther prepare the 6th grade for the momen- tous leap into junior high. Martha Parsons SPECIAL DEPTS Mrs. Allen teaches the trainable mentally handicapped. Mrs. Cason teaches the educable mentally handicapped and disabled learners. Mrs. Brown runs the resource room. The home- bound students have their school work brought to them by Mrs. Seibert, who also sponsors Gifted and Talented. Students with speech disabilities are instructed by Mrs. Chappell and Ms. Nichols Judy Shelton Ruby Hatley AIDES This page is devoted to presenting our teachers’ aides.
