Not only does she attempt to “pound some English into our heads, but she also directs our Senior play. She attends practically every varsity ball game, especially since she has a daughter on the girls' team and a son on the boys' team, and also is the sponsor of the varsity cheerleaders. She also is the sponsor of the pep club and chaperones almost all of the dances sponsored by any organization here at DSI1S. As a small thank-you. we the Class of Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-one. would like to dedicate the '81 Panther to you, Mrs. Judith Johnston. Butterflies thru my slomaeh flv. And as I free that last deep sigh, I feel that death is drawing near. But the end of the race. I do not fear. For when the string comes across my breast. I know it’s time for eternal rest. The gun goes off, the race is run. And only God knows if I’ve won. My family and friends and many more Can't understand what it was for. But this “Race to Death” is a final test. And I'm not afraid. For I've done my best. 76 DAVID WAYNE STEELEY April 11, 1963 — December 28, 1980 X DAWSONH'RliXGb HIGH SCHOOL 80 KIIOMU BOUCHER BII.LY JOHNSTON DAVID HUNT DARRYL FROST TONYA KITTINGER REGINA STALLINGS B O J Y V S G I R L S J V F R E S H M E N 83 BASEBALL STATISTICIANS VARSITY CHEERLEADERS Eiz Nichols ( s E N I O R S 91 KINDERGARTEN AIDES BACK ROm.
