This is the defini- tion according to Webster’s dictionary. Here at Dawson Springs High School, however, it has a different meaning. Here, it refers to a dedicated and loyal teacher. One who is not only concerned al oiit his teaching hut those he teaches. In 1973, we the class of 1979. began a new and exciting adven- ture. We were now considered a part of the high school. And there to help us along the way was our sponsor for the past six years. He led us from the scary seventh grade, thru the maga- zines and prom of the eleventh grade thru the wonderful world of Seniors. As a small token of our appreciation, the class of 1979 would like to dedicate this yearbook to you, MR. He also sponsors the Annual Staff and co-sponsors the Beta Club and the Sophomore class. Mrs. O’Bryan teaches Practical arts, 7th and 8th grade Math, and Math I. She also co-sponsors the 8th grade class and is the Girl’s Varsity Cheerleader Sponsor. Mr. Phelps teaches 7th, 8th, and 9th grade P.E.. 9th grade Health, and 7th grade Science.
