The Dawson County High School Band had a new director this year, Mr. John Lund. Attractive new uniforms, white coats and red trousers, were purchased by the Band Mothers' Club, newly organized this fall. The band performed at all football and basketball games and put on a spring concert with the vocal depart- ment in April. They took part in the District Music Festival held in Glendive, April 26. A dance orchestra consisting of Kim Potter, Juliann Hagenston, Peter Jarding, Joan Olson, Norma Bidleman, Mary Ann Wilkins, Darrell Glas sc ock played for the Follies. The highlight of the year was a trip to Williston on May 17 to participate in the Music Festival conducted there.
