G. A. A. FOR HE LTH A DFU For the girls in D, C, H. S, who were interested in sports, the G.A,A. was organized. This club promotes good sportsmanship and co-operation. The many activities began with initiation and then went right into softball and tennis practice while warm weatherwas still with us. Co-ed volleyball was begun on September 18 and basketball followed. The annual play day event was held here between Miles City, Sid- ney, and Glendive in December. A tumbling exhibition was put on by ten of the girls for the Lewistown-Glen- dive game. Pop corn, candy, and pop was sold during all basketball games. There were still many sports in which to take part for the remaining school year, some of which were: badminton, tennis fdoubles and singlesj, and archery, Tournaments were held for each event. Throughout the year the G,A,A, had parties, picnics, and dances. PLAY DA Y ACTIVITIES l
