For their first conference tilt the Wilson eleven journeyed to Glasgow where they edged the powerful Scotties 20-12. In their first home game Dawson's Devils trounced Miles City 37-13. The next week the boys from Dawson suffered their only setback of the season, a 7-0 loss to their arch rivals from Sidney. The Devils then routed the Mandan Braves in a non- conference fray 24-13. To celebrate their homecoming classic the Red Devils rolled over Lewistown 24-13. In the season's finale the charges of Coach Wilson played their best ball game of the year and brought home a 31-20 victory over the Laurel Locomotives and second place in the Eastern Division.
