' 3a..'si1-san...,I.gf Our Senior trip' Long awaited and much anticipated, it was even more thrilling than we had imagined' we boarded the S S South American in Detroit on Saturday afternoon, May 19, and soon became acquainted with our fellow ship mates from Harbor Beach, Morrice, Mason, Fennville, St Johns, Grand Blanc, and Pottsford Arriving at Macinac Island about noon on Sunday, we spent the afternoon visiting its many points of interest After another wonderful evening of fun and dancing on the ship that night we arrived in Chicago early Monday morning Using the whole day to explore this wonderous metropolis, we left that night and arrived in picturesque Holland Tuesday morning After thoroughly taking the town over, we came home on the school bus feeling very tired, but very, very wonderful This was a trip we will long remember' HEAVE HO' A shipload of Seniors went sail ing merrily by From Macinac to hicago and to - Holland they would try To keep from being seasick They N I vowed they wouldnw fail 2 9 But two miles out of Detroit they Q -1 ' I - were hanging o'er the rail fl ix in lgqgv' From starboard to portside along 1 'gl ' from bow to stern ,4 -' ,f- They were pushing and shoving just waiting their turn. -:L--l -- with stomachs overturning and hands upon their head They gazed upon the water for the fish to be fed. 2'-' .55 qt Q , Q if - 1 i P! 2 ' sift o 'v I o A its fi' X ' YY ,Y r LA 1 ' r xl f !ff :.1, ' ' ffs -Jw- , ' - 5 'l A V' ff: 'i 7 ., .
