Susie finds many ways to shock Laura and her snobbish friends, Constance Pawle, lHelen Bylsmal, and Bunny Slings- bee, lTony Smithl. To make the situation more complicated, Iud Iones, lHugh Hoebekel, an artist, comes to the Lorraine home begging Wayne to help him out of a predicament. Iud has engaged two models to pose for him, Rita Pandro, fIulie Vander Veenl, and Sadie Applebaum, CViola Dykemal. He falls violently in love with Iane Smith, fIeanne Stottl, they be- come engaged, and Iud takes his fiancee to his studio where she sees the two models, thinks they are friends of his, and walks out on him. To still further complicate matters, the two enraged models, Iane, and her Aunt, CMary Iean Forbesj, arrive at the Lorraines', and poor Iud is in fear of his life. ln the meantime, Lola Lorraine, fMartha Milanl, Laura's pretty sister, has fallen in love with Cupie Clooney, fOtto Worpell, whom Laura has mistaken for the butler and set to work under the direction of Ioyce Farrow, fEileen Longcorel.
