A+ fhe 'foofball games +he cheerleaders are colorfully dressed in green and while: +he girls in green sweafers and whi+e skir+s, and +he boys in green iacke1's and whi're panfs. Cheerleaders mus+ have definife qualilicalions ius'r as afhlefes musi' have special ap1'i- +udes. They musf have pep, vigorous voices, and ouisianding personali+ies. For I94O-4I, +he girl cheerleaders were Helen Peck, Doris Jelsema, HenrieHa Hoogeboom, Evelyn Dylcehouse, and June Jennings. These girls will be back in Sepfember +o con'rinue 'rheir good worlc. The boy cheer- leaders were Pele Smifh, Jerry Verburg, Milfon Pierce, Forresf Knoper, Harry Hampson, and Jack Allen. Only fhe laHer +wo will re+urn nex+ year.
