Unlike many mixed quartets, this group is composed ot tour singers who have won separate acclaim as soloists. Even though it has been said that it is next to impossible to take tour voices, each adapted to solo work, and make up a tine quartet, this did not stand in the way ot Mr. Wing. To this group is given due credit tor the spreading ot good will and recognition tor Tech's music department during the short time they have been together. Although limited in activity because ot getting a late start, to date they have represented Tech at churches and over Station WLAV. They also sang at the Michigan Industrial Educa- tion Society convention, which was held at the Pantlind Hotel in March. The members ot this organization are Wilma Cox, soprano: Nella Mae London, alto, Henry F. Heald, tenor: and Robert A. Walcott, bass. Lockwood.
