SK. . -. ., Smiar Will We, the members of the Senior Class of Davis High School, County of Murray, State of Oklahoma, being of sound mind and memory, and having reached an age where we are soon to pass on to higher realms, do hereby make and declare this to be the last will and testament of our class. This valuable document, duly executed and signed, is as follows: To the members of our beloved faculty, who look upon our departure with smiles of joy, we bequeath the satisfaction which comes from duties well performed, and a peaceful rest from the weary work of making our graduation shrouds. We also leave them a large amount of sympathy for their depressing attempts to pound knowledge into our craniums. To our successors in this grade we leave: our seats, occupy them but do not try to fill them. Our senior dignity, may they uphold it with becoming serious- ness, endeavoring to overcome their usual hare-brained flippancy. Our ten-. dency to make a little knowledge go a long way in the classroom. Our strongly entrenched places in the hearts of the faculty who have loved us devotedly because--they couldn't help it! Comfort them in their loss, but don't imagine you can mangle their hearts as we have done. To the vivacious Sophomores we leave the right to prey upon the Fresh- men, out of season and without reason, to torture them unceasingly--with the liabilities thereof! To the Freshmen we leave the responsibility of holding up the scholastic honors around dear old D. H. S., and the ability to acquire' the knowledge and dignity that now rests upon our shoulders. g To our superintendent, J. M. Carey, a copy of Amateur Detective Sug- gestions, whcih we feel will be of great assistance in discovering the pranks of various students. - - To the principal of our school, Odis Goodrich, the unfoiling good humor of the entire class, we are certain he will need this in dealing with the seniors who succeed us. BARBSARA AYERS wills her love for parking in the drive-in to Nancy Branden- urg. JIM GUINN wills his nature-boy appearance to Roy Bristol. CHARLENE ROGERS wills her willingness to study to Iris Golden. EARL REED wills to James Busby his love for the girls. FRANK HUSSEY wills his movie technique to Kenneth Ketner. P. S.-This means to run the projector, ONLY. SHARON RUSSELL wills her June wedding to Martha Ramsey. TOM YOUNGBLOOD wills to Johnny Thomas his beautiful legs. CAROLYN ANDERSON wills her basketball ability to Kaye Bennett. TOMMY SMITH wills his collection of bottles to Kenneth Carter. KENNETH HARRIS wills his willingness to fight for the girls to Tom Ayers.
