Key Club leaders Meeting in library Keys aid community Key Club started the year off right with an ice cream social producing a great turnout. From the 125 memberships, 60 students attended and demonstrated the greatly increased interest in Key Club. l am really excited and enthusiastic about this year, stated President Beth Rose. By working consessions throughout the football season, Key Club was well prepared for the annual convention in Anaheim during the month of April. This convention was available to both officers and members. 1985-86 S Club S Club Officers: Tera McDowell, treasurer, Maurene Todd, Asilomar chairperson, Kiki Tzagarakis, president, julie Stewart, Asilomar chairperson, Holly Merchant, vice-president. Kim Butz enjoys her ice cream cone at S club's first ice cream social of the year. ' ' send support In mid March S club members attended the annual Asilomar conference where students from different schools met and discussed fund raising ideas and community services. In order for the members to attend Ailomar, they must have first received 100 points by serving at different community functions. Each year S club members have become more involved. This year with the help of Mrs. Curtis, the new advisor, S club sponsored S100 for the schooling of Edith Wanbuii in Kenya. Besides just being a service club S club has become a social club as well. The members attended monthly meeting of pizza, Putt-Putt golf, and ice cream socials.
