Kristin has taken a balletljazz class from Iuline's School of Dance for six years. Kristin takes her hobby very seriously by practicing up to nine hours a week. Kristin has been in only one major production, The Nutcracker, but has been in numerous recitals and intends to perform in many others. Her first career choice is dancing professionally and plans on traveling to New York to achieve her goal. Kristin also aspires to become a psychologist, after she retires as a dancer, of course! - Ienifer Quesenberry Foam Students Against Drunk Driving is a club that has taken a hard look at the problems of drunk driving and has worked equally hard to find solutions. Shan Schauer became a devoted member of SADD. Three years ago Shan and his mother were hit by a drunk driver. His mother was temporarily paralyzed, and Shan suffered a neck injury. Therefore Shan has very strong opinions about the drunk driving problems facing the United States. Shan's main goal is to let people know about the consequences of drunk driving and let them know about SADD. Shan's future goals revolve around his need to prevent harm. I-Ie wants to be a chiropractor as his need for a three- year-treatment has shown him the value of this health field. - Jenifer Quesenberry

MA., Track dodges puddles Track season started off in a slow jog, due to the early March rains. Fortunately the team managed to dodge the mud puddles and get in a few extensive work-outs. They tried 'to spend two days during the week training at Modesto Junior College and the rest of the week practicing at Davis or preparing for a meet. These practices were vital to excel in their main events: distance running, sprints, shot put, and discus. Unlike last year, track received no support from boosters to finance transportation, so they organized a log- A-Thon to raise money. Because the team consisted of newcomers and few returning members, the competition' assumed Davis would be lacking in performance, but track coach Kim Dinnell was confident with his team from the start. He stated, We're going to surprise some people. - Kiki and Annesa
