Friendships! Of all the won- derful memories I will have of Davis the friendships l have formed will stand out the most. With such outstanding people as our Principal, Mr. Whitesides, Mr. Davis and Mrs. Carroll, Miss Streeper and Mr. Barber, and the rest of the faculty, we, your student body officers, cannot help but love every day we have spent here. Margaret and Julie are the greatest of the greats. I will cherish the fond memories of these wonderful personalities forever. Along with them I will always remember all of my as- sociates these past years. Thanks for everything. Ston Reed Along with the other officers, I want to thank the student body for their support this year. Thanks must go to Stan and Julie, also, some wonderful leaders. I'll soon be leaving Davis, we all must some time, but I will take with me lasting memories. I love Davis and feel proud when I see her valiant brown and gold, and realize I was once part of her. The class of '60 leaves Davis to the future-please take care of her. Morgoret Whitesides For me, Davis has been a fast succession of colorful memories: Final exams, late assembly prac- tices, facts and theories, lost books, basketball scores, home- work-late into the night, Pro Schola drills, crowded lunch lines, theorems and equations, disappointments and victories. Davis has meant friends l'll never forget and opportunities I would never have had. I especially appreciate the help that Mr. Whitesides and the teachers have been to us, and the support of our wonderful studentbody. Julie Simmons 2l
