I I II I I UI I ' I I I As editor of the UNITAS XVII Cruise Book, I wish to express my thanks to the following individuals: MS1 MURRAY - Photographer I WAYNE spent many long hard hours taking pictures during and after the cruise. He not only shot the pictures, but also developed, printed and enlarged the prints chosen for the book. This work was totally done at Wayne's expense, and without his help this cruise book would not exist. THANKS MURRAY. He sacrificed his free time, including numerous sleepless hours putting this book together. Greg provided 40W of all color pictures, and various black and white shots as well. To list the other jobs Greg did so well would be impossible, so instead I say, Thanks Greg for your unending support. QMSN ALLOWAY AND QMSN RAFFERTY MIKE and RADAR gave much needed advice and help in the selection and lay out of the book. Plus Radar devoted much time in the dark room pulling prints with Murray. And Mike gave directions and explanation in working up the copy. Thanks guys for your aid. PN2 De JESUS DEE JAY was responsible for typing all copy for the book. He also undertook the task of correcting grammatical errors, proofreading, typing, and proofreading again. Thanks DEE. ENSIGN FREEMAN Mr. FREEMAN gave up important hours making decisions and saw to it that things ran smothly within and around the staff. Thanks Sir. EWC KOON and PNSN RUDD Chief and DAVE handled the financial matters. They spent pay days on the mess deck selling books and collecting money. The required mimimum of two hundred and fifty books was reached and surpassed because of their efforts.
