The Boatmans and the Kings H To you, Mr. Pioneer, study meant walking many miles to borrow a few books; then reading them by a meager light. Our study methods have advanced to the point where countless books, well-lighted classrooms, and modem facilities are taken for granted. In order to show you these advances, we shall be- gin our tour of Davis High, starting with CLASSES. Boys' Foods Class--who would be in the center? Agriculture I boys learn to do by doing. History students keep up with location of current events. CLASSES were the most important part of our years at Davis High. We spent six long hours of each day in the toil, and sometimes drudgery, of class work; in spite of all this, before we knew it another year had passed. Of course, there was time out for activities--plays, assemblies, pep meets, and shows. But always there was that pile of books waiting.
