The ability to think clearly and set down the results of one's thinking in precise language should be an accomplishment of every student in Davis County Community High School. This is the task that Davis High is endeavoring to do for every student. All efforts are being directed toward helping young people learn how to progress so that they may lead happy, useful, and creative lives. The Board’s Voice Is the People’s Choice 6 The Davis County Board of Education is a group of taxpayers who are elected by the people of the district to represent them in matters concerning property mainten- ance and administration of the district's schools. To meet these new standards, students in Davis County Community High School are being offered a broader course of study which will prepare them to take their places in society and contribute their share. The entire community and Davis High are combining their efforts to make sure that our future citizens have the best, and as a result will enjoy the art of living to the fullest. Whether that problem concerns the present or the future, Miss Beuter and Mr. Mor- lan stand ready to lend their assistance. When students are enrolled in the 9th grade, tests are given to determine their abilities and aptitudes; then they are in a position to make a wiser choice of subjects.
