1946 SENIOR CLASS PRUPHFLY By J BANNLTTE Sl-l me HIS year I was selected to prophesy the future of my class mates Puzzled but happy I probed my mlnd for some hlnts on how to proceed wlth thls great task It came to me that a cel taln Madame Shelba had advertlsed 'to know all and tell all a most unusual fashlon In my search for lnformatlon I dldn t dare lea Je a stone unturned so I deC1ded to vlslt th1S lady Arrlvlng at Madame bhelba s, I was dlsappolnted to flnd no dark entrance l-all nothlng that would satlsfy my VlVld lmaglnatlon I remlnded my self agaln that every p0SSlblllty had to be exhausted so I allowed myself to be led down the hall by a very attractlve but deflnltely Amerlcan lady To add to my dlsappolntment Madame Shelba was very humanllke no alr of mystery about thls woman no crystal ball nor dlfl she look at my palm Just set me down ln a comfort able chalr and adjusted my foot rest She walked to the llght swltch and turned off the llght I set motlonless wonderlng what would happen next She walked ln front of me, but dld not offer to touch me After a moment she pulled back a curtaln Whlch revealed a movle screen It llghted up wlth D CH S Graduates of 48 I sat back knowlng that at thls moment very llkely my search had been short llved The openlng scene IS famlllar enough Yes you are rlght It IS the dear old Alma Mater The Prlnclpal however looked very dlfferent but vastly famlllar It IS Wll llam Carlton and accompanylng hlm IS hls secretary Hazel G00dWlH Looklng around at the other members of the faculty I see more famlllar faces Dorothy Prlndle Com merclal teacher Bettv Sue Roberts, Engllsh and J W Brumley, agrlculture As the scene leaves bounty Hlgh we see two flgures ln the dlstance on motor scooters They are Teddy Ray Cooper and Robert Bellew Don t tell me they Stlll have those motor scooters?
