K Students returned in the fall to hear the sad news
of classmate Jim Bukin's death during the summer. slfirst
semester's ASB president Dave Stevenson a'nd Mrs. Beverly
Martin, advisor, worked with the fall Cabinet in making
plans for the year. I The "Those Were the Days"
Asembly October 3 featured Joey Kramer and Lisa Allred
in a nostalgic look at the thirties. The first dance of the
school year was the Welcome Bac Dance October 4.
Alumni were invited to the SAC-sponsored activity. HBlue
crushed Whlite 7-6 in the annual Blue-White Football Game
held October 16. Guidnia Arancibia was the Blue captain
while Teri Husbands led the White teamn Using a new
format this year, a successful Back to School Night was
held October 17. H Elections in Publications resulted in
Lisa Allred. seated left, becoming the first eighth grader
in the history of Jordan to serve as Cougar editor. Sharon

October 12 N'int Grade Field Trip. Tom O'Brien took
