When this book has been read, autographed, and enjoyed it will be placed upon a shelf and forgotten ex- cept for occasions of reminiscing mom ents. However, the events which took place in your lives during this year cannot be laid aside so easily. They have become part of you and will help to form the personality and cha acter of the men or women you will be someday. Most of you have used your time and talents Well. The school owes much to the sincere and helpful leadership of our ninth grader class. Best Wishes for your future. I I' It is well for us to recognize that we are now living our lives, and that if we intend to make anything good or beautiful of them, the place to accomplish-this is right here at jordan where We now find ourselves, and the time, the present fleeting hours. lt is not so much what We get out of school as what We put into it that determines what the returns of our education shall be. Perhaps at tim es through the 1962-63 school year we have felt that life was a grind. How- ever, unexpectedly at times we can glimpse at our goals and find that We are on our path to reaching them . l congratulate the class of '63 for their present accomplishments and Wish them Well in their future aspirations.
