STUDENT LEADERS First Semester BENNY KWONG RUSTY BENNETT LEE SIMS Cheers! to the Student Officers and Council for the first semester. Jordan has benefited from their fine leadership and dependable work. The Executive Council consisted of Student Manager, Rusty Bennett, his assistant, Lee Sims, Council President, Benny Kwong, Vice President, Ted West, and Clerk, Emily Teale. The main things that the Executive Council and Student Council did to improve life at Jordan were to pass a law stating that any damage done to bikes while on school property was to be paid for by the Student Body Fund and the Social Fund, the supplying of services to the school such as the pen machine, which was purchased this year, the pencil machine, book covers, pompons, and the fruit machine, the help they gave to clubs finan- cially, and the successful operation of the Halloween Carnival. Their main fob was to keep up the payments on the Milkshake Machine fknown as the 'Electric Cow'i, pay salaries, and repair equipment. They directed the work of the commissioners and planned the rooting sections for games, arranged the games and transportation to them, and planned air raid and fire drills. Rusty and Lee did an excellent job and passed the government into the able hands of the second semester officers in February. STUDENT COUNCIL TED WEST .lg7W W .Y Y
