Probably the most notable achievements of the first semester council were: The new financial arrangement whereby the student government is responsible for all student funds and disburses them by budgets to each club or activitygThe successful operation of the Halloween CarnivalpThe estab- lishment of a new system of selecting cheerleaders and pompon girls on a team basisp The special purchase of sweaters fOr the cheer leaders: and the supplying of book covers for the student body. The second semester Council was also concerned with the purchase of a milk shake dispenser, the replacement of the Honor Code signs, reorganization of the Student Court, and the inclusion of the Honor Code Commissioners as a part of the Student Government Organization.
