Mr. HERBERT E. MOREY PRINCIPAL 'i mm PIUNCIPI-XL'S MESSAGE This year has been a big one for us at Jordan. With three new adminis- trators, there have naturally been many changes. These changes, the bond election, the final decision to build a new junior high school in Watts, the loss of our re-paint job, student body financial difficulties and the result- ant establishnment of a board of finance, and championship basketball and track teams have all been enough to upset the equilibriurn of a well adjusted person. However, Jordan students have maintained their balance through all of this and have come through with flying colors. As we look back, we can say that we accepted changes with confidence in ourselves and our leadersg we tackled the problems of the day with diligence and enthusiasm in accordance with our ambitionsg we have, each one of us, - made our mark on Jordan High School for it is impossible for us to be a part of an organization and not have some effect--good or bad. We face the future with a sincere and honest hope that we may make our stay here so constructive and positive that twenty or forty years from now we can look back on our school days and say, I am proud of the contribu- tion I made to Jordan High School and I know Jordan is proud of me.
