This victory will enable Sanders to tour Europe, all expenses paid Have you noticed how Jordan s campus appears to be getting dirtier instead of cleaner? I hear that Jordan s Marcellians of S 52 are going to have blue and white robes for graduation How a bout that Have you heard the name Daisy Williams lately? Yes Jordan s en trant in the Girls Week Oratorical contest won a 5 50 Susan B Anthony Students Vie For Achievement Awards Jordan and some 200 other high schools are selecting out- standing senior students to re- ceive 2,000 awards from the Bank of America, the awards including 515,400 in cash and 450 gold cups. Winners will be selected in the four general fields of mathematics and science, vocational arts, fine arts, and liberal arts, with school awards being presented May l3th. Group one has perfect atten- dance Group two is absent only in times of emergency Group three is absent as often as possible What group are you in? It is our Job the Job of all of us to eliminate the third group Our parents work hard to keep us in school They pay taxes part of which goes to the L A Schools Out of those taxes come paper books and desks Do we appreciate these efforts our parents are putting forth for us?
