We've got blue pride is what our sophomore yell chanted this year. The four girls without the aid of a microphone were still heard. Soph yell attended yell camp with the other squads which helped improve their routines as they cheered for all sophomore sports. Their pep signs added color as yell proved indeed to be high spirited. Most people think that all the Panth- erettes did this year was half-time shows at football games, but they also sold pencils and spirit buttons, spon- sored the Homecoming dance and had a garage sale, Over the summer, captains Kim Galles and Lorri Krzin- owck along with dance captains lane Padilla and Lynne Taylor attended a drill team camp at Loyola University. This year the Pantherettes competed in their first competition halftime show hosted by Savanna High School. They also participated in the Daisy Lane Christmas Parade and the Lake- wood Pan American Parade to com- plete a most successful year.
