Our spirit comes from pride Pepsters were one of the most hard working, multi-talented, and closely knit groups on campus. The group cheered at Varsity football games, participated in half- time shows, performed at rallies, marched in competition parades, provided entertainment at basketball games, as well as inventing and perfecting their song, flag, and twirling routines. The pepsters were also involved in several spirit raising projects such as decorating the football players' locker room and houses for homecoming. Lending support to all athletic teams, it was com- mon to see the cheery blue and white pepster uniforms in the au- dience at many sports events. This has been Miss Lindahl's twelfth year as pepster sponsor, and her fourteenth year at lordan. Of the pepsters she said, lt is a distinct privilege to sponsor a group where there is so much dedi- cation, love, pride, and tradition. They hoped to get all groups involved with repeat cheers like Funky Chicken and Sock-it. The girls succeeded with their peppy smiles and energetic personalities as they cheered and supported all of our athletic teams. Varsity yell was also responsible for our colorful pep signs that were put up to cheer our teams on. The girls put forth great effort which expressed their spirit and Blue Pride at rallies. ln 1977-78, the Panther yell leaders were indeed Ji 1. K
