Home Economics Each day a home economics teacher must tace scores of girls seeking knowledge of the domestic sciences. Under her patient guidance the girls learn the answer to questions such as, What is back stitching, cinyway'P At David Douglas the opportunity to learn the art ot being a homemaker is given all tour years. For seniors who have not taken home ec, a course in home management is offered which concentrates on several subiects includ- ing family budgeting and child care. The intention of this course and all courses offered by the department is to prepare the girls for their lite after high school, The home ec girls prepare to cut their masterpiece.
