In promoting an interest in scientific and mathematical fields the David Douglas math department has a two-fold goal. The first purpose is to provide a terminal mathematics program for those people-not interested in a mathematics career. The second is to provide a program in college preparatory mathematics sound enough to equip the student for college work anywhere in the country.
