' 3-5 Forty-eight students were enrolled in the drivers' training course this year. Forty of the 48 students who participated in the course took it for credit. The Davis Motor Company contributed the l95l Chevrolet. John Tomek taught behind-the-wheel training, while Ellis Mercer taught the classroom auto educa- tion. After completing classroom studies, the students took behind-the-wheel training and finished the course by obtaining their licenses from the patrolmon.
