Mr. Ebmeier has a Bachelor ot Arts degree in social studies, science, and physical education. He also has a Master of Arts degree in school ad- ministration irom the University oi Nebraska. David City Public Schools considers itself fortunate to have on its school board such able leaders as Dr. D. E. Burdick, president, Mrs. V. D. Friis, vice-president, Harold Zin- necker, secretary, and H. H. Schaaf, Mrs. B. Smith and Charles Vasina, as board members. ,415 B. E. VAUCK The principal of David City High School, B. E. FCOTBALL Coach lohn Rumbaugh piloted his David City Scouts to their second straight Central Eight Conference Crown with seven wins, one loss and one tie. The Scouts' only setback of the season came from the hands of Crete, l9-6. The David City Scouts rolled through the season with a total of 194 points to their opponents' 92. Doyle Pyle, tackle, was the only David City gridder picked for the Class B Hll State first team, but Norman Coufal, quarterback, and lack Gilmore, end, were placed on the second team. For the second consecutive year the Scouts have been listed among the top ten teams in the state. David City was placed in eighth spot by Gregg McBride's Omaha World Herald chart.
