Elaine Wadkins, treasurer, exclaims, Chest 46, while Marilyn Maack, secretary, says Six foot, two, as they measure vice-presi- dent, Gary Widle. Dud Kovarik, president, remarks What A A Man, as the seniors are measured for caps and gowns. LEADING CHARACTERS The 53 actors and actresses put on their last show on station D.C.-T.V. this year. The stars of the 1949-1950 series of programs were Dudley Kovarik, president, Gary Widle, vice- president, Marilyn Maack, secretary, Elaine Wadkins, treasurer. The top production of the year was Gridiron Magic which presented an undefeated season in football. The other attractions of the year were basketball, track, D.C. Club, Pep Club, instrumental music, vocal music, journalism, speech, F.H.A., F.F.A., and physical education. The football team topped the Central Eight Conference. Mr. Willard Lally directed the great production presented by the senior class called The Inner Willie. A field trip to gather information on how to produce more and better shows was taken to Omaha. The highlight of the expedition was Ice Capades of l95U. The show Forty-Niners, the junior-senior banquet, led the TV stars to the great things that they accomplished in their last year. The banquet planned by the junior class and presi- dent, Marvin Craig proved the acting ability of the group. The other junior class directors of the production were Gary Widle, vice-presi- dent, Eugene Sobolik, secretary, and George Hain, treasurer. President Gary Widle starred in the sopho- more video production. Vice president, Bob Lawson, secretary, Bob Meysenburg, Marvin Craig, treasurer, and Iohn Kucera, student council representative, were the top members of the supporting cast. The leading actors in their first show were Iohn Kucera, president, George Abbott, vice president, and Gilbert Kovar, secretary-treas- urer. Dudley Kovarik College Preparatory . . .
