This is a story of sixty-one of the most courageous and daring young adventurers of today. Yes, these sixty-one make up the graduating class of 1949. Four years ago, these young people set out on a journey, a long, hard journey, one which they hoped would some day lead them to the land of unlimited treasure. In that first year they were guided over steep cliffs and through rugged can- yons by their class sponsors, Miss loan Hoffman and Mr. Vauck, with the help of Norman Muntz, president, lack Nichols, vice-president, Peggy Bechius, secretary, lean Martin, treas- urer. Iohn Schlentz was student council representative. The class readily adapted itself to school activities and was soon on its way to success.
