FORWARD In the thirty years that have passed since the graduation of the first eightyffour stu' dents in 1926, the policy of the OMICRON has remained, for the most part the sanie with only one exception, the adoption of the permanent cover design in February, 1955. However, this year of 1956 begins a new era in the history of Oliver tradition since, for the first time, both the February and Iune classes have combined their talents to present in one book, what had before been pub' lished in two. Iust as the class of fune, 1926, were pioneers, we, the classes of February and Iune, 195 6, are pioneers in our own right presenting the new', Ornicron which this year includes features that were not present in previous issues. We be' lieve that this accoinplishrnent represents a step forward in the history of the GMICRON. Page Fivg
