The crew forms a firmer organization with Miss Porter, Miss Kelly, and Mr. Rockwell as pilots. Our rings arrive-Owl 36.50. FEBRUARY 1927 A. D. Udwiga Plukis, Sis Smith, and Mary Robertson, are running a neck to neck race for the title of allfaround athlete. Lance Duggar is taken out to' play no more in athletics. He sure has done his share and more in athletics. MARCH 1927 A. D. Hungry Sterling discovers that his height comes in handy when playing volly ball for the Oliver team. APRIL 1927 A. D. I Mary McCann, one of the most prominent in the crew has showed her superiority in many ways. In the colony of Irwinia, she was the chief justice. On board the ship, she is a big asset, being on the social committee, vicefpresident of the class and in the future, editorfinfchief of the Omicron. She is another of Miss Disay's tempo teasers-possesses athletic ability-another of those born with a very excellent knowledge of English. MAY 1927 A. D. Track team shows its stuff with Stew Smith, Will Nicholl, and Will Jones participating. JUNE 1927 A. D. Baseball weather- Charm Miller becomes the important cogfwheel of the team by his superb pitching. Chizzy is also on the team. L'Chizz,y has paid for his passage on the L'Olivernia . Baseball, football, basketball and track, just like Lance. JULY -- AUGUST 1927 A. D. Two more months of shore leave, this time everyone doing his or her best to get back on the good old ship. Eorgot to mention an important fact. Helped by Udwiga Plukis, Sis Smith, and Mary Robertson, the girls' volley ball team paved their way to the sectional championship, and beating Westinghouse in the finals, came through the possessor of the silver cup. SEPTEMBER 1927 A. D. Sailing smoothly with land almost in sight. Adie Stevens wins the highest honor, that of president of the Student's Association. Johnny Billotta is the quietest boy of the crew. At times, he seems to be out of the room, but he's there. Sylvia Liptz is on the social committee for the present semester and is helping make it successful. She also has her time proving to be a little menace to Miss Kelly.

M cLAss OF FEBRUARY 1928 Lfifj MAY 1926 A. D. Butts Coneby, Babe Ruth's only dreaded rival, can be seen dressed in a Wagner Bear baseball suit as the sandlot baseball season opens. Somehow, I think his name is connected with that of Mr. Guttenburg fprobably some of the history students can identify Mr. Guttenburg to the readersj Mike Franzak's worf ries over his studies will cause his hair to turn gray before the time comes. You can see him studying every spare moment he has. By gum! he has the making of Abe Lincoln. JUNE 1926 A, D. Baseball again becomes the major sport of the time. Charm , Miller, gains a berth on the twirling staff, Johnny Fullerton also making the team. Almost a championship team. JULY - AUGUST 1926 A. D. Shore leave for two month. Earl 'iRosy Erew is having his good times monkeyshining with Mr. Goetz, but finds out that Mr. Goetz is somewhat of an athlete pursuing Rosy through the auditorium. NOVEMBER 1926 A. D. Jane Stanger, alias Galli Curci, represents the steamer in many ways- Secretary of Sanitation--Hilarious harmonizer under the leadership of Miss Disay hAthlete-Smart and clever student, etc. We always wondered why Ollie Golian attracted many girls, but now we found out that he wears a different suit every day. He must be extravagant-Naw, his dad owns a tailor shop, and he just breaks in the customers' suits. DECEMBER 1926 A. D. just found out that Augusta McCord is a classic dancer. The Spanish Dance must be a humdinger when 'Gusta struts her stuff .
