She is always around with a ready smile and a helping hand. Mrs. Sexton is very involved with the students. She has worked hard over the years to make French Club the best in the school. The French banquet, which everyone enjoys, is another of her fabulous accomplishments. Each year. Mrs. Sexton puts all her effort into a formal dinner for her French IV class. It is a time to eat, talk, and to just have a good time. Mrs. Sexton has also done many extra things such as taking some of her French students on a voyage to France. This was an extraordinary experience for these lucky people and a once in a lifetime chance, which she gave to them. We, the students as well as the faculty, would like to express our thanks and to wish Mrs. Sex- ton good luck in her new life in the coming years. Aussi, les eleves franqais envoient leur amour et vous veulent beaucoup de bonheur. 51 )(«ttC«€CfCC« c««i . . .TO FAME 53 1975 Homecoming Court L. to R., ATTEND- ANTS: Janet Burnip, Freshman; Chris Cusick, Junior; 1975 Queen Jane Pastore; 1974 Queen Priscilla Proctor; Kathy Ashton, Senior; Joy Scott, Sophomore. Patty Vokovich was crowned queen. From top: Cyndi Baronzzi, Kathy Bates, Chris Davner, Terry Pike, Patty Voko- vich, 1976 Basketball Homecoming Queen. 1976 Prom Queen and King Teresa Reynolds and Mickey Scott LEFT TO RIGHT: Kins Cusick (crown bearer), Kim Vollnogle, Cheryl Fitch, Dave Peppel, Kelli Lewis, Mickey Scott (king), Teresa Reynolds (queen), Mark Kemats (crown bearer). The theme for this year’s prom was Dream On”, and this the students did as they boarded the buses at approximately 4:30 P.M. with everyone prepared for a fantastic and exciting evening. The first stop was din- ner at the Brown Derby Restaurant in Boston Heights, Hudson. The main course of the meal was steak. The prom itself was held on a riverboat, The Good- time 11, in Cleveland. Setting the mood for music at the prom was Sprectrum, a well-known band from the Columbus area. On the boat, Mickey Scott and Teresa Reynolds were crowned king and queen. Everyone jived to the music and had a wonderful time, but the night was still young. The next stop was the Y. M. C. A. in Alliance. Here the students swam, danced, and played basketball until 4:00 in the morning. Now the Prom of 1976 was over. Some people were sad, others tired, but due to the hard work of the Junior class members officers, and advisors, the prom was surely a night to remember. 61 Mr. Olympian This year the Student Council chose SCOTT EMERSON as Mr. Olympian. The two seasons combined have totaled fifteen wins, four losses, and one tie. Mr. Coldsnow deserves much recognition, because in 1974 he helped our Lisbon Football Team gain the title of Tri-County Champs (Division II). For this reason, Mr. Coldsnow was chosen as Columbiana County Coach of the Year. But Mr. Coldsnow's success as coach didn't end here. In 1975 our football team again reached mounting height. The members of the football team were very happy as they placed fourth in Class A, Region 9, Computer Ratings, were runners-up in Tri-County (Division II), and were recognized by WKBN Radio and T.V. as the Class A 1 football team in the area. Again Mr. Coldsnow was honored for his many accomplishments; he was named Northeastern Ohio Inland District Class A Coach of the year. The future for Mr. Coldsnow looks bright as he was selected to the coaching staff for the annual Ohio Pennsylvania All Star Game at Hershey, Pennsylvania in the summer of 1976. Mr. Coldsnow is a very unusual man. He has done everything possible to improve our football team. This is not only a result of hard work, time, and some disappointments, but also encouragement, confi- dence, and enthusiasm. Therefore, the students and the faculty want to thank Mr. Coldsnow for his many contributions to our school and wish him the best of luck in the coming years. 73 Blue Devil Varsity L. to R.: Bob Sprague, Kevin Rose, Ron Gallo, Dave Jackson, Pat Kelly, Larry Davis, Scott Emerson, Andy Rubino, Denny Pastore, Jeff Manning, Tim Toot. 1975-76 RECORD L.H.S. Mmmmmmmm Our Senior class song was written by Cyndi Baronzzi and Marianne Cosma. The song was sung by a group of senior boys and girls who were willing to give up their time to practice at lunch. It was directed by Julie Hiscox. The Seniors wish to thank Mr. Schoeni and Cheryl Fitch for their help in making the song possible. What Are We?” Who are these people around me? I been with them four years now And most are still strangers. Well, I know a few of them, but what about the rest? I’m to graduate in ”76” But what will I do? I'm not sure and I wonder if any of my friends are And what about the strangers? It's a weird feeling to graduate, 1 still have unanswered questions, And is college the answer? A few of my friends are going to the service I wonder what the strangers will do? Who are the strangers? Doctors? Nurses? Ministers? Radicals? Polilicans: Police? Just what kind of people are in this class I sure will be interested to find out just who are all these people?
