RICHARD SWEENY was a one year letterman, earning his varsity let- ter his senior year. He diligently worked to improve his skills as center and middle guard. LEE BRUEY gained senior recog- nition as he strove towards vic- tory. Lee played football all four years, earning varsity let- ters his final three years. He was awarded Honorable Men- tion his senior year for his pos- ition of defensive guard. ROB PIKE has earned varsity letters three years, regardless of injuries his Jr. and Sr. years. During his Sr. year, Rob served as Defensive Back and gained recognition by being awarded Honorable Mention. MARION LEWIS has played foot- ball at D. A. H. S. for his Soph., Jr., and Sr. years. As a senior he earned his varsity letter for continuous efforts to perform as halfback.

I, Bonnie Lowry, crown you, Karen Kennedy, 1970 Homecoming Queen. Miss Karen Kennedy was chosen by the football squad to reign over the 1970 Home- coming activities. The Queen and her court cheered on our fighting Devils as they battled the Poland Bulldogs. The end of tire game brought a close defeat: Poland 14, Devils 12. The team played well for their queen, despite their defeat. 19
