— !k I A 4 | You arc a cliilU of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you con- ccive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confu- sion of life l eep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. This gentleman has prov- en that hard work pays off. The 1971 track season found a flawless record of 8 wins and no losses. Much praise should be given to this man, his team and ideals. The elec- tricity was off as the result of an afternoon storm. Two spotlights and the microphone were run off a generator. Despite the difficulties the proceedings carried on. The Valedictorian delivered her address on Life's Dividends. Involve- ment was the topic of the Saluta- torian's speech. Diplomas were passed out ending one phase of our life, but leading us into our roles in todya’s world. 101st Commencement Receiving that long-awaited diploma Nancy Ward, Salutatorian, and Barb Hart, Valedictorian Look Out World . . .
