Seniors As the Senior Class leaves David Anderson High School for the final time, their hearts are filled with memories, and their minds with countless ideas that will remain there for a lifetime. In their last year. Seniors took a big part in almost all of the scholastic activities. On their own, they held a profitable Christmas Candle sale and a memorable annual Senior Play. Probably, for most of us, the longest remembered, will be the Seniors' participation in winning the Tri-County Football League Crown, spectacular basketball games, golf, and track. The Class of 1968 will not be easily forgotten here. As they have gained know- ledge and wisdom, they leave us with high standards of grades, morals, and ideas to live up to. 15 JERRY ADAMS: French Club 2, 3,4; Intramurals 2, 3; Senior Play Stage Crew. Leaders Participate In Class 67 69 Oriental Queen Louise Gallo and King John Richardson reigned over the enchanting Oriental Gardens. Junior-Senior Prom 1967 On the evening of May 5, 1967 the D. A.H. S. gymnasium was trans- formed into the exotic Oriental Gardens. The seniors and juniors crossed a bridge and stone path which led them to the brightly colored essence of the Orient. Queen Louise Gallo and King John Richardson reigned over the prom from their throne amidst the flowers and palms of the gardens. The New Breed flanked by two buddhas and the setting sun pro- vided music for the prom goers. The highlight of the evening was the coronation of the Junior King and Queen. Gone now is the happiness that each experienced. All that remains of this enchanting evening are wonderful memories. No one will ever forget the oriental gardens; it will always be a night to cherish. 70 Enchantment Prom servers take a break to veiw the coronation ceremony. Valli Ieropoli, like many of the Juniors, worked hard to create a beautiful prom. Janine Ashton and Bret Apple carry Prom goers were greeted by'this mural in the crowns to the coronation scene. the entrance. 71 A radiant Queen Debbie Rupp, and King Bill Farmer reigned. Neptune’s Court Beyond the twelve mile reef in Neptune's Court was the site of the 1968 prom on the evening of April 26. A huge life-like whale from which sea goddesses served punch guarded one corner of the gym. A life-like octopus and a dolphin occupied places of honor in a beautiful rock garden. Sea creatures and fish net completed the walls and sound effects added to the brilliancy of the court. Completing the splendor of Neptune's Court were Queen Debbie Rupp and King Bill Farmer. A finer court could not be found in any of the seven seas. Junior girls work diligently on the cave entrance. These hard workers helped complete the walls as the prom began to take shape. These girls found time to pose for the photographer, kingdom of the sea. With the co-operation of the class and Mr. Ashton, the Juniors transformed the gymnasium into a magnificent Retiring Queen Louise Gallo and King John Richardson pose with the new royalty.
