4's Through fifty years of success in the business field, one man has stood out a from all the rest as being a leader. Probably no better tribute to this long devoted service to business education could be found than the following citation presented to him by Mr. Robert Slaughter, Vice-President of the McGrow-Hill Publishing Co sary. ., on his 50th anniver- For fifty years of distinguished service to education, notably in the field of private business school business education. For his immeasurable contribution, personally and through the Davenport Schools, to the lives of thousands of young men and women. For his invaluable contribution to the growth, development, and success of hundreds of business and industrial firms and professional offices in which graduates of Davenport Schools have been employed.
