MAJ ORETTES AN D VOCALISTS Maiorettes were Ronne Ricketts, Marilee Mooers, Rollie band at band day at WSU, at basketball games and Buchser, and Nancy Whitney. The girls twirled with the at the Lilac Parade in Spokane. The Octette, a continuation ot the Triple Trio of last year, sang again this year for the tall concert and for events to which they were invited. Members are: Carol Odell, Carol Reinbold, Sharon Can- field, Lynda Heitman, Marilyn Heitman, Nancy Reinbolol, Joy Underwood, and Diane Abbott. The girls were accompa- nied by Susan Luiten. Page 36 The Girls' Quartette, formed in the second semester, sang at the various music contests and vvere asked to sing at several dinners and events sponsored by local organizations. Susan Luiten ac- companied the members-Lynda Heitman, Linda Strate, Marilyn Heitman, and Carol Reinbolcl.

FUTURE FARMERS DF AMERICA Row l: Ron Kirkwood, Secretary, Rod Willey, Vice- President, Mike Hutsell, President, Ken Jacobsen, Sen tinel, Gerald Stiles, Treasurer, Don Hutsell, Jim Soren sen, Roger Reinbold, Gary King, Don Conrad. Row 3 A tull program vigorously pursued by F.F.A. has resulted in many awards. The livestock iudg- ing team won the Lincoln County Fair contest. Our team won second in livestock judging at St. John this spring, Mike Hardin was tourth high indi- vidual. Ken Jacobsen was high individual at the Davenport preview on April 28. Our land-iudging team participated at Liberty and the parliamentary procedure team competed at Cheney this spring. Ron Kirkwood received the State Farmer de- gree this spring at the State convention. He also played tirst chair clarinet in the State F.F.A. Band. Rodney Reinbold was one of two in the Northeast district to be awarded a F.F.A. jacket by the Western Farmers' Cooperative Association. Gerald Stiles and Ron Kirkwood received trophies from the Ralston Purina Corporation and Rodney Willey received a special ship trophy trom the Daryl Williams, Bill Striegel, Ray Bretz, Don Ford, Joe Caskey, and non-members Jim Haynie and Jim Lottler. Row 4: Jim Reinbold, Rod Reinbold, Mike Hardin, Ron McClure, Duane Guhlke, Dennis Reinbold. Gibson Welding Supply. Mike Hutsell received the Washington Bankers' Association citation tor leadership. The Parent-F.F.A. banquet was well attend- ed, at which time awards earned by chapter members were given out. Our booth at the Lincoln County Fair won first again, with the members winning most ot the F.F.A. division honors. Gerald Stiles showed the champion sheep and was the champion show- man. Ron Kirkwood showed the champion barrow and pen ot three and was the champion show- man. Ken Jacobsen showed the reserve champion steer and was the champion showman, he was the champion showman also at the Davenport Preview this spring.
