THE ANNUAL DEDICATION In Appreciation The Davenport High School annual has many times been very appropriately dedicated to individuals on the high school faculty, and in two instances has been dedicated to the alumni of Davenport High School serving in the armed forces of the United States. With due respect for each member of our present faculty, this year the students of Davenport High School wish to dedicate this i946 annual to our advertisers, without whose financial assistance this annual would not be possible. Each advertisement in the last section of the 1946 Gorilla represents a generous yearly financial addition to the annual fund, making it possible to purchase this annual at a much lower price, We can only partially express our sincere appreciation by dedicating the 1946 Gorilla to the business men of Davenport, and to all of the others placing an advertisement in this annual.
