BAND The Davenport High School band, under the direction of Mr. Schoen, has participated in the tall and spring music concerts this year. The theme of the season was carrieal out in each event. ' ' The pep band, a special group from the main band, played at the Bi-County Basketball Conference games and at the home games of the Davenport team. The band marched in the Halloween parade, the 4-H Fair, the Memorial parade, two pep rallies, and at the half of two football games.

GLEE CLUB The Glee Club, under the supervision ot Mr. Bernard Schoen, has made several public appearances this past year. They sang at the Methodist Church at Thanksgiving time and participated in tall and spring concerts. A small group was selected from the Glee Club to sing at Baccalaureate. The group consists of thirty girls, eleven of whom are graduating this year. ssss-

SPECIAL MUSIC GROUP The special music group included Those selected from the band and glee club to perform for various events of the year. They consisted of a brass quartet and a vocal quartet, besides soloists. Those in the brass quartet were: Ray Hoople, Duane Horwege, Carla Horn and Echo Geissler. Those in the vocal quartet were: Arnold Thompson, Janet Drake, Ray Conrad and Carla Horn. Appearance were made at the Commercial Club banquet, P.-T. A., and they also competed in the preliminary audition ot the Cheney Amateur contest. ' 'sssfsf
