SCHOOL IMPROVEMENTS During the summer months many changes were made in the school building, besides having a new sidewalk placed along the tennis court going to the Smith-Hughes building. The gym had a redecorating iob done. The ceiling walls and bleachers were all repainted and the floor revarnished. But during the basketball season, due to the synthetic rubber on the tennis shoes, the floor was marked all over with black streaks and will probably have to be refinished. All the lockers were pulled away from the wall in order that the base board could be removed. And now that the lockers are in place they fit snugly against the wall so nothing will drop down behind them. This year the third floor was the one that was repainted and retinished.
