FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA The F. F. A. chapter started their new school year with 30 members under Richard Buck, President, Echo Geissler, Vice President, Leonard Stubbs, Secretary, Stanley Reinbolcl, Treasurer, Arnold Thompson, Sentinel, and Virgil Gunning, Reporter. We started the F. F. A. hatchery which has been doing so well we plan to continue it next year. We also are raising broilers to help the F. F. A. fund. During this year we have accomplished a wide field ot work such as shearing sheep, dehorning cattle, welding, metal lathe work, overhauling cars and trucks, and practiced surveying. We also gave a high school dance, and are planning the annual picnic. g An F. F. A. judging team will go to the Spokane Junior Livestock Show, they have had practice in iudging cattle, sheep and hogs in our community. Leonard Stubbs was elected representative from the Davenport and Reardon chapters to attend theannual F. F. A. State Convention at Pullman in April.

They were: Donna Harris, Ilene McCaftery, Dorothy Olsen and Sylvia Slater. The girls donnedtheir white sweaters and red skirts to march at the basketball game with Harrington on December I2. December 23, the club held a food sale to raise money for the treasury. During the last month of school the club sponsored a Co-ed Dance at which a king and two princes were crowned.

Thirteen new members have been added to the club. A few weeks before school closed the annual Letter D picnic was held and again proved the high light of the year. -eeeeerse
