Jessie McCall wills all her A's to Patty Fisher, you know they always help. Eva McCaffery wills her assistance as office helper to Bob Luiten, we hope you get along as well as Eva did. If not, Renie will help you. Neva Murbach wills her cowboy boots to the DeVores, we hope you can make as much noise as Neva did. Margaret Scharff wills her shyness to Virgil Oertel, we think you could use a little of it. Dorothy Wilke wills her wit and personality to the Faculty of D. H. S., and we are sure you will miss it. Edwina Deppner wills her ability as Miss Lawler's favorite Secretary to Caryle Harris. Elinor Zellmer wills her ability to get the men to Barbara Peffley, good luck, Babs. Ray Hoople wills his good record to get to class for at least half of first period to- llene McCaffery. We hope she does better than Ray did. Dona Sims wills her residence in Davenport to Alice Page, because Dona Jeanne is going to take over the cooking in the Walker home in Odessa. Lois Knack decides not to will anything because she's having a hard enough time getting her hope chest filled as it is. She wants a hope chest, not a hopeless chest. Arnold Thompson wills his ability to sing tenor to Larry Whidden. Lila Lilienthal leaves her iob as assistant editor of the Megaphone to Ardythe Ball and hopes D. H. S, gets a paper next year. Frances Page wills her catching laugh and smile to Pug Edwards. Dorothy Schmauder wills her quiet disposition to Gladys Furgeson. We wonder if it will help Gladys any. David McCall wills his being a woman hater to Russell Pankey. lt might help if he did follow in these footsteps. CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of l945, being of sound and disposing mind and memory and not acting under duress, fraud, or undue influence whatsoever, do hereby make, publish and declare this our last will and testament in the manner following: To the Juniors we leave our seats in the front row in the assembly, and also the responsibilities of being Mighty Seniors next year. To the Sophomores, we leave the worry of putting on a prom next year. P. S. take a few pointers from the Juniors, and we predict you won't have any worries. And last but not least, to the little Frosh we leave a fraction of our elementary knowledge and diligence, You may need it in the next three years. Faye Alexander wishes to leave her long blond hair to Mickey Willis, so in the future Mickey won't have to brighten her hair with a dash of peroxide. Don Ball was going to leave his long stride in basketball to Bobby Buchanan, but since Don is in the Army now, he thought he might need it. Richard Buck wills his spotlight, minus the car, to Wayne Montague, your next worry, Monty, is to get a car to put it on. Ruby Campbell thinks she will keep everything she's got, because she's afraid she will need it in the future. Calvin Brown wills the two front seats that he and Faye Alexander occupied, to .Echo Geissler and Sylvia Slater, and hopes they get along as well as he and Faye did. Ray Conrad wills his ability to get along with the women to Bob Hutsell, and we ihope he gets along as well as Ray did. Richard Erfurth wills his ambition of being a farmer to Tommy Spining, hope you :like it, Tommy, it's lots of fun. Leeta Fichtenberg wills her tiny feet to Ruth Frohnhafer, and we hope she keeps them stepping. Bob Frohnhafer would like to keep everything for his best gal, Betty Simpson. Faye Green wills her seat in the front row in glee club to Janis Haynie, now let's have a little noise in the Alto Section. Carla Horn wills all her service men to Hazel Logsdon. Carla feels she won't have time for all of them after she graduates. Faye Hurdstrom and Bernice Rohlman will their snappy pep as Cheer Leaders to Renie Reinbold, Janet Drake and Virginia Zeuhlke. Lauretta James wishes to keep all her troubles until Virgil gets home, then she will unload them on him. Lorraine James wills her ability to get along with Danny Hopp to Janet Drake, good luck, Janet. Glenn Kirkwood wishes to put all his troubles in a little box and give them to Lyle Fisher. We hope Lyle gets them all straightened out before he graduates.

CLASS POEM We started out upon o iourney iust twelve years ago, To go to school to learn and study upon life's open road. As the time rolled around we found we had to part, So this poem we wrote from the depth of our heart. The Senior Class is a grand old bunch, And of its goodness you haven't even a hunch. Lauretta James, a cute little daisy, Over o man has become a wee bit hazy. A pretty little girl named Lorraine James, Has a twin sister, Lauretta, looking the same. Ray Hoople, our basketball cap, Without Faye in English would be taking a nap. Neva Murbach plus a guy named Loron, Always stay out from night till morn. With Lila Lilienthal we've had our smiles, Her puns are sure to roll 'em in the aisles. Mr. Haukaas is Glenn Kirkwood's pet peeve, So that explains why Glenn, once in awhile takes o sick leave Margaret Scharff, as you all know, Well-she's the girl who can cook and sew. Lois Knock, known os Quack, Can't wait for the day when Teddy comes back. My old man all the time says, is a familiar phrase, Just blame Richard Erfurth for this craze. What would Maclins do without Miss Horn, To fix the vegetable display every morn? Dotty Wilke, who has what it takes, Has some guy thinking what a fine housewife she'd make. Bob Frohnhafer, affectionately dubbed Joke, ln speech class really takes the cake. Fraces Page has personality to please, He boy friend, Johnny, is now overseas. Ruby Campbell really has the school spirit, And if you're within a mile you're bound to hear it. Now when it comes to dancing, Tommy beats them all, He never leaves a flower hanging on the wall. fNot even a freshmanj Assssss ssss J
